Description
The aim of my presentation during AFRINIC- 31 is to highlight prior to anything the “Angolan Internet Landscape” since this is the first time Angola is hosting an AFRINIC event.
Presentation will have around 20 – 30 minutes whereby the main subject to be pointed out will be as follow:
a) Country general background;
b) Telecommunications general background e.g. number of registered ASN(s), Datacenters, Subsea Cables, IXP(s), etc;
c) Interconnections ecosystem including the IP addressing evolution / adoption;
d) Deep dive on the existing Subsea Systems and the impact on the economy / digital development’s;
e) Challenges and how to tackle it;
f) The paper of Angolan Peering Forum & Angolan Network Operators Group;
